About US

Take a look at what we've done

Why DZR Racing?

Here at DZR Racing, we just love cars — plain and simple. Building them, racing them, pushing limits, and yes… making the occasional questionable build just to see if we can. We live for it all.

It all started back in 2022 with a group of friends wrenching on random cars just for fun. Then we decided to get serious and build our own race car — an old FC RX-7. That car didn’t exactly survive the test of time (or torque), but it taught us everything we needed to know to keep building better, faster, and smarter machines.

Fast forward to today: we’ve got a one-of-a-kind Time Attack car, a Muscle Truck, and a few other slightly insane projects in the works. What began as nothing more than a dream and some basic tools has turned into a shop that thrives on doing the impossible. If it sounds wild — we’ve probably already tried it.

Now, we’re bringing that same passion and experience to you. Whether you're after a full custom build or just need an OEM-style refresh, we’ve got the skills to get it done. Our team’s experience spans everything from classic and modern American muscle, to JDM icons, to on- and off-road diesels.

Not looking for a full engine? No problem. We also offer:

  • Porting

  • 3D modeling and printing services

  • Custom fabrication and welding

  • Preventative maintenance and diagnostics

If it runs on dead dinosaurs, we can make it faster, cleaner, and cooler.

Tuning the Mercades 300D diesel engine in the Chevy S-10

1994 Diesel S-10

Well we really love a good S-10 but not the old "iron duke" this one had. And we really, REALLY like the older Mercedes diesels they made. So, why not combine them?
In the middle of pulling out an Atlas 4200 for a new project.

So you have your 1 and 2jz's and your RB's filling up the popular inline 6 category. Then there's the classic LS to fill the American and v8 engine swaps. But what if they made an American inline six that has the tuning potential of the Japanese engines but with the power and easy to use nature of the LS. Well they did, it's called an Atlas 4200. Stay tuned to see what we do with it.
